Demand for timber is growing but the world needs more forest. To combat climate change and increase biodiversity, we need to protect our existing forests, restore degraded forests and plant new ones.
Sie Timber – Foundation focuses mainly on planting trees in the tropical forests of South America. In the countries where the origin of our timber is light, we take responsibility to multiply the number of trees felled back. Even when selling wood, we offer the option of receiving a personalized certificate of your contribution to replanting for the number of wood purchased from us.
We want to contribute to nature by creating new forests where deforestation is taking place. We plant back in places where, according to planting, for hundreds of years no wood may be cut /-extracted. Where companies and other organizations exploit their concessions, we plant multiply back for the extracted wood.
